A new underground electricity substation was being considered using the site of an existing toilet block in Farringdon Street, London.

Solution

All utility services were mapped in at street level including the depth and exact position of the Victorian Fleet Sewers, running in parallel either side of the existing toilet block.
This included a full three dimensional Topographic Survey of surface features, underground services, the interior of both sewers and the toilet block.
