As part of the SSR4 upgrade scheme to the London Underground ABB appointed Clear Route to conduct 11kV Cable Installation on the Metropolitan Line between Baker Street and Finchley Road.

The works consisted of:
SSR4 – Baker Street to Finchley Road- 11kV Installation

• Installation of new 11kV and 22kV 3core cable delivered by train, road and by hand onto new brackets, into ducts or inverts including all associated dressing and temporary supports
• Route enabling works (re-location of ballast, removal of existing brackets, installation of new brackets)
• Construction of Over Track Crossings (OTX) and Under Track Crossings
• Installation of new Ducted Routes
• Supply and Installation of new brackets within London Underground Tunnels and substations
• Supply and installation of cable joints
• Confined Space Working within Tunnel & Pits
